Beale scored his tenth and final try of the season in his second game deputising as fulback against the Gold Coast Titans in Round 24.

This marked the first time in Club history that two New Zealander players had both scored ten tries each for the Dragons as winger Jason Nightingale scored 16 tries of his own respectively.
