St George Illawarra Dragons utility Kurt Mann admits he is not fazed where he plays on the field in 2017.
The Winton Devils junior has only recently commenced his own preparations due to being afforded additional time away as a result of representing the Illawarra Cutters during their NSW Cup Premiership and NRL State Championship campaigns.

Mann is presently focused on getting his body in pinnacle shape ahead of the upcoming campaign and is prepared to play wherever needed.
The utility featured for the Red-and-Whites on the wing and as fullback, as well as in the centres for the Cutters, last season and has since been touted externally as possibly filling the vacant halfback role.
“I’ve been tossed up as a candidate for the halves position as well as other positions but I’m not worried about it at the moment,” said Mann.
“I’ll just keep focusing on how I’m training at the moment and see what happens.
“It’s been a really tough slog the first couple of weeks of pre-season involving a lot of running across a number of tough training sessions.
“Everyone tries to keep fit during the off-season doing a few things here and there to maintain their body.

“It wasn’t too bad coming back in but it’s still a bit of a shock to the body going into the big workloads we’re doing which sometimes are 12 kilometre days.
“We’re still doing skills training as well as well as out conditioning but it won’t be until after Christmas where we get right down to more skill-specific drills.”
