Donations Policy /

The Dragons recognise the importance of providing support and assistance to the community and our region. The club assists a variety of charitable and not-for-profit organisations throughout the year by raising awareness, fundraising efforts, and donations.

The Dragons receive a significant number of requests for donations and assistance throughout the year from individuals, charitable organisations, schools, and community groups. While the club endeavours to assist the community, due to high demand, we are unable to fulfil every request for assistance.

Please note:

• The Dragons do not accept any merchandise sent to the club for signing; all items will be returned unsigned
• Personal requests for signed memorabilia will not be fulfilled
• Requests for monetary donations and sponsorship will not be accepted
• The Dragons do not share or promote fundraising pages
• Individual and groups connection to the Dragons and Rugby League will be a factor in facilitating requests.

Preference for donations will be given in the following order:

• Dragons charitable and community partners,
• Schools within the catchment areas of the Dragons, which support Dragons community programs,
• Junior rugby league clubs in the catchment areas of the Dragons

Donation Process:

• Requests must be submitted through the below form at least 6 weeks before the event
• Requests must advise where the fundraising proceeds will go
• Requests must include contact name, phone, email, postal address, company name,
• Schools and organisations must provide evidence of their support of Dragons community and Rugby League,
• Donations are limited to one per organisation, per year.

It should be noted the Dragons retain the right to determine the appropriate donation.
