St George Illawarra Dragons National Youth Competition hooker Logan Harris was excited to make his season debut for the young Dragons on ANZAC Day against the Sydney Roosters.

The Dapto Canaries junior said it was an honour to play on ANZAC Day and 2014 marked a year since his debut for the Dragons.

"It's always an honour to pull on the Red V jersey and I was happy to be back out there with the boys," said Harris.

"I debuted last year on ANZAC Day, so it was very honourable to play on such a prestigious day.

"It's quite humbling to play on ANZAC Day and to remember the soldiers, servicemen and women who have served our country.

"It was great to have a win and I think I had a fairly good run.

"I'm really looking forward to getting back out there again.

"We have a bit of a break now until our next game, but we'll keep training and working hard.

"We know where we need to improve and we'll be ready come time for the Canterbury match.

"It's been great to work with Ben and Dean, they're very knowledgeable and experienced; I'm just trying to learn all I can to improve my own game."
