St George Illawarra Dragons hooker Mitch Rein has been charged with a Grade 1 "Dangerous Throw" offence by the NRL Match Review Committee on Tuesday.
The NSW Country Origin representative was placed on report for the incident against South Sydney Rabbitohs prop Thomas Burgess during the fixture at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park on Monday.
Rein will be loaded 125 points if he takes the early plea or 150 points if found guilty.
The Dragons will consider its position and have until midday Wednesday to enter a plea.
