St George Illawarra Dragons Assistant Coach Dean Young has shared his thoughts on the completed first phase of first-grade pre-season training.
The former Australia international oversees the defensive component of the squad’s preparation and has identified props Leeson Ah Mau, Jack de Belin and Russell Packer as well as hooker Mitch Rein as stand-out performers thus far.

Young also addressed how the coaching staff overcame the task of integrating 18 new players to the training squad as well as working with a new medical department.
