Tram

  • Tram 70 (Wattle Park): Tram services from Flinders Street and Richmond Stations stop at Rod Laver Arena (Stop 7B), Hisense Arena (Stop 7C) and AAMI Park (Stop 7D).
  • Tram 48 (North Balwyn) and Tram 75 (Vermont South): stops adjacent to MCG on Wellington Parade.

Train

Richmond Station is walking distance of the Melbourne and Olympic Parks precinct. The addition of the Champions Walk and William Barak Bridge from Birrarung Marr makes a short pleasurable walk from the City, Federation Square and along the Yarra.

Bus

Travels down Punt Road, stops at the corner of Olympic Blvd. From here patrons can walk approximately 500 metres to Hisense Arena and AAMI Park and less than one kilometre to Rod Laver Arena and Margaret Court Arena.

Taxi

A dedicated taxi rank operates for all events next to The Oval on Olympic Blvd (previously known as Swan St.) convenient for all venues, providing a safe and efficient way to hail a taxi.

Parking

Pre-book parking to save 33 per cent on parking. Parking can be booked up until 11:59pm the day immediately prior to your event.

Drop-off parking

Designated passenger drop off areas are available in front of Hisense Arena or opposite Gosch’s Paddock.

Accessible parking and accessible drop-off areas

Accessible parking is booked through Ticketek on the special needs hotline (03) 9286 1208. All accessible parking will be charged at the time of booking. Booking can be made subject to space available.

Mobility impaired passengers may be dropped off before the boom gate at Entrance F (East) and Entrance F (West) for easy access to External Lift E (Gate 7) and F (Gate 2).

Car park attendants located at each entrance will coordinate which vehicles are permitted access to the drop off areas.

  • On-street parking: Around the Botanical Gardens and along the Yarra River metered parking is available.
