Nathan Brown has named his Newcastle Knights side to face St George Illawarra Dragons this Saturday at McDonald Jones Stadium, including 20-year-old hooker Tom Starling who is set to make his NRL debut (pending NRL approval).

Changes include Jamie Buhrer named to start in his regular position of backrow and Jack Cogger returns to the halves. Kalyn Ponga has been left out of the squad with Brown opting to rest the fullback-five-eighth due to an ongoing ankle issue.

Retirees Chris Heighington and Jacob Lillyman have been named on the bench in what will be the final NRL game of their careers.
