While our faithful Red V members aren't allowed at games currently, we thought we'd share a few of their favourite memories ahead of the Dragons' return to playing on Saturday.

Favourite player: James Graham
"Ever since I was young my dad would tell me about the great St George teams of the 1950s and 60s. The rich history and the successes were a big reason why I was immediately drawn to the Dragons. Now I can proudly say, I LOVE THIS CLUB!"
Zachariah Iannuzzi – fourth-year Red V member
Favourite player: Blake Lawrie
"After last year's Dragons vs Wests Tigers game at the SCG, me and my Dad waited for the players to come round. We were holding up our 'Blocka' banner and Blake Lawrie come over to us. He said thank you for your support and gave me his playing shorts. I was so excited that I did not know what to say. My Dad said thank you to him for me, but I just wanted to say to Blake 'Thank you for your playing shorts, when I'm practicing with my Dad in the back yard or training, I am always wearing them and telling my friends that they are the real playing shorts of Blocker from the Dragons'. I cannot wait for the footy season to get started again, the Red V is part of me :)"
Joey Merheb – third-year Red V member
Favourite player: Tariq Sims
"My first footy game I attended was the1985 Grand Final at the age of 13 and even though it was disappointing when the Saints lost, to watch them play at the SCG was amazing. Even better, I had the chance to run on the field last year on Father's Day with my son Anthony."

"I was at the 2010 grand final with my family. It was a long time coming - my Life ambition in my year 12 year book from 1989 was to see the Dragons win a premiership in my youth. Having everyone cheering and happy crying was an experience I have never experienced before – it is up there with the birth of my kids and my wedding day. I truly understood what being a part of a team meant on that day. It's a memory my kids still talk about and will tell their kids about."
Gary Bexim – 19-year Red V member
Favourite player: Tyson Frizell
"I joined up in 1999 and bought Grand Final tickets in June and we almost pulled it off! I've also loved taking my three daughters to the home games in Wollongong."
