St George Illawarra have signed South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Jaydn Su'A on a three-year deal following the completion of all necessary documentation. He will join the Dragons ahead of the 2022 NRL Telstra Premiership season.
Su'A has played 74 first grade games to date after debuting at the Brisbane Broncos back in 2016.
The one-time Samoan international has also represented Queensland Origin on four occasions.
St George Illawarra general manager of football Ben Haran said the 23-year-old will provide the Dragons a point of difference to the club's forwards.
"We have made no secret that strengthening our pack has been a recruitment priority for us of late and we're pleased to bring a player to the club of Jaydn's quality," Haran said.
"While only young, he is at good stage of his career having already played representative football at a State of Origin and international level.
"The most exciting thing about the recruitment of Jaydn over the coming three seasons is the extra dimension he will add to our squad."
Su'A is the Dragons' second recruit for season 2022 after fellow Maroons representative Francis Molo agreed to terms with the club back in March. Both forwards are signed to the Red V until at least the end of the 2024 season.
