St George Illawarra coach Anthony Griffin has finalised his 17 ahead of the Dragons' Round 6 clash against the Newcastle Knights at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Easter Sunday, April 17 (4:05pm).
The Dragons and Knights will meet for the Alex McKinnon Cup for the eighth time. McKinnon spent time at both clubs prior to his untimely and tragic career-ending injury in 2014.
Josh McGuire (suspension) has been named to return for his first NRL game of season 2022 at the expense of Jackson Ford.
Aaron Woods also finds him named in the extended squad alongside another intriguing name in Tyrell Fuimaono, who too returns from suspension. George Burgess is the new face in the Dragons' 17.
Jackson Ford joins Tyrell Fuimaono, Jack Gosiewski, Tyrell Sloan, Jayden Sullivan and Aaron Woods as the players to drop out of Tuesday's initial 24-man squad.
