St George District Rugby League Football Club have announced all six 'Teams of the Eras' ahead of their official Team of the Century announcement on July 20, 2022.
The 1956-1966 and 1967-1981 'Teams of the Eras' were announced on Wednesday, June 22 while the 1982-1998 team was announced on July 6.
All announcements were held at the Spirit of the Red V Museum.
"We had a lot of activities and events planned to celebrate our centenary but the Covid pandemic had other ideas. We made the decision to hold them over to allow us to appropriately recognise and celebrate those named," St George District and St George Illawarra Chairman Craig Young said.
"We put together a highly credential selection panel chaired by former coach, and now respected journalist, Roy Masters. The premise on which the Team of the Century is based is that all eras involving St George have produced great players, and this process ensures that the greatest players from all eras were recognised.
"Selectors were asked to consider a range of qualities such as: skill, durability, courage, character, versatility, leadership and representative honours."
