St George Illawarra NRL Telstra Women's Premiership coach Jamie Soward has finalised his 17 ahead of the Dragons' Round 4 clash against the Brisbane Broncos at AAMI Park on Saturday, September 10 (2:50pm).
Tegan Dymock (shoulder) omission has caused a huge reshuffle with Holli Wheeler moving to the front row, Taliah Fuimaono shifting to lock and Zali Hopkins named at five-eighth for her NRLW debut (St George Illawarra player No. 63).
Andie Robinson (quad) also returns on the wing in place of Staples, while Renee Targett returns on the bench in place of Talei Holmes (knee).
Staples, Holmes, Aliti Namoce and Salma Nour are the players to drop out of Tuesday's initial 22-woman squad. Shontelle Stowers is 18th woman.
The Dragons will look to make amends after their last start defeat to the Sydney Roosters as part of a triple-header in Melbourne on Saturday afternoon.
