Final team: Indigenous Round v Roosters

Dragons interim coach Ryan Carr has trimmed his squad to face the Sydney Roosters at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium – Home of the Bidjigal and Biddea’gal Peoples – for Indigenous Round.

Jack Bird has been ruled out with knee soreness with the short turnaround from the Townsville trip meaning a decision was made not to risk him. Ben Murdoch-Masila comes into the starting back row with Jaiyden Hunt joining the bench.

Earlier in the week Francis Molo was named to return from suspension at lock in place of his brother Michael. Moses Mbye is the replacement player.

Both sides will be celebrating Indigenous Round when they take the field in their specially designed jerseys at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Friday.

The Dragons’ jersey will feature Zoe Raymond’s ‘Stand Your Ground’ artwork which depicts the truth-telling account of the Biddea’gal and Dharawal peoples' battles against colonists in the early 1800s, led by supreme Aboriginal warrior Pemulwuy.
