The Dragons’ annual Anzac Day clash against the Roosters at Allianz Stadium has officially been sold out.
It will be the 23rd edition of the Anzac Cup, which begun in 2002, with the Red V having secured victory on 12 occasions.
It will also be the second time that the encounter has taken place at Moore Park’s rebuilt Allianz Stadium.
“The annual Anzac Day Cup match is one of the most special occasions on the rugby league calendar,” said Dragons CEO Ryan Webb.
“The unwavering support from both Dragons and Roosters fans, alongside the broader rugby league community, truly exemplifies the spirit of this occasion.
“It’s great to see that the match is sold out, and we look forward to paying tribute to the Australian and New Zealand armed forces and everyone who has served.”
A host of NRL and NRLW personalities will be on hand for pre-game activities in and around the precinct before the Australian Defence Force take on the New Zealand Defence Force in a curtain-raiser at 1:30pm.
The traditional Anzac Day Ceremony begins at 3:30pm in preparation for the main game’s kick-off at 4:05pm.
