Anzac Day is an opportunity to pause in recognition and commemorate all members of the Defence Force who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
This Anzac Day, the Dragons are partnering with Legacy for our 50/50 Charity Raffle at Allianz Stadium.
Established in 1923, Legacy is a unique Australian charity dedicated to caring for the families of deceased or seriously injured veterans.
Legacy’s work ensures that no spouse or child of a veteran suffers financially or socially after the death or serious injury of a loved one or, in the words of a promise made from one digger to another, provides an organisation to "look after the missus and kids".
Today, Legacy supports 40,000 partners and children of veterans who gave their lives or health while serving our country.
Recently, the Dragons hosted 69-year-old Dragons supporter and Legacy beneficiary Jeff Lees at WIN Stadium to watch training and speak with some of the players on his experience with the charity.

Jeff has been enrolled with Legacy since 1991, where he attends the Wattle group - Legacy’s social outing group for beneficiaries with a disability.
Jeff, whose father was a World War II veteran, also assists as a volunteer by handing out name badges for the charity.
Legatee, Joanne Bevis, was also a guest on the day sharing her story and the role and impact she has seen working with Legacy as well as her own experiences with the Australian Defence Force.
Legacy provides ongoing support with services and phone contact regularly.
As a part of our mission to have a positive impact on our community, we encourage you to get along to Allianz Stadium this Anzac Day to support Legacy as our 50/50 Match Day Charity Raffle partner or, if you cannot make the game, purchase a ticket online.
