The Dragons are pleased to confirm that Indie Bostock and Koffi Brookfield have agreed to development deals for the 2024 NRLW season.
The Player of the Match in this year's Tarsha Gale Cup Grand Final, Bostock's deal will see her promoted to the NRLW squad for the 2025 season.
Dragons NRLW head coach Jamie Soward is pleased to see another duo that have come through the club's pathways system advance into the NRLW system.
Bostock, who was also on a development deal last season, is coming off a Tarsha Gale Cup campaign in which she topped the competition's try tally and netted a Grand Final double.
“Indie Bostock, the Ferrari,” Soward said.
“She's a special talent; a great kid who has really worked hard on her craft this year and matured into a young woman. It's hard to believe she's only 17 but she's got all the assets that are going to make her a fantastic NRLW player... She can do things that not many 17-year-olds can do.”
Another Steelers product, Brookfield was unable to play a part in the Steelers' Lisa Fiaola Cup campaign this season due to an MCL injury but is nearing a return with more football around the corner.
“Koffi's been in and around our academy for the last year and a half,” Soward said.
“She has been in the state school teams and we see a bright future for her. She's a young hooker who's going to play some Harvey Norman Women's Premiership this year, so we wanted to reward her and get her into our NRLW system as soon as possible.”
