Venue: 4 Pines Park, Sydney
The Dragons were unable to overcome the Sea Eagles at 4 Pines Park on Sunday going down 36-16 behind Kylan Mafoa and Devante Mihinui doubles.
Mafoa opened the scoring for the hosts 10 minutes in before Ben Rumble notched his 12th try of the season to answer for the Red V.
No.13 Devante Mihinui was the next to cross for the Sea Eagles before the back-and-forth nature of the encounter continued with halfback Ashton Ward finding his way over for the visitors.
A Travis May try just shy of the break saw the Sea Eagles take an 18-12 advantage into halftime.
Quick tries to Nicholas Lenaz and Mafoa on the other side of the half saw the hosts leap out to a commanding lead.
A 48th-minute Cain Barnes try did little to slow the Sea Eagles down with Mihinui grabbing a late one to seal it for the hosts.
