NRL Round 18 Match Preview: Dragons set for Sunday Allianz showdown

The Dragons will meet the Roosters on Sunday, July 7th at Allianz Stadium, Moore Park in Round 18 of the 2024 Telstra Premiership.

The club's Knock-On Effect NSW Cup side will also be on show at Allianz Stadium in the lead-up to the NRL clash.

Zac Lomax returns into the run-on side at the expense of Mathew Feagai who succumbed to a shoulder injury in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.

In the only other change to last week's 17, Raymond Faitala-Mariner drops out due to back spasms with Luciano Leilua listed to start on an edge and Michael Molo joining the interchange.

Joseph Manu is out with a hand injury for the hosts with Michael Jennings coming into the centres whilst Lindsay Collins reclaims his starting spot with Terrell May reverting to the interchange.

Veteran Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has been named to start as he becomes the most capped player in Roosters history.

The Dragons will be eyeing redemption after a heavy Anzac Day loss earlier in the year in a match where Moses Suli was ruled out on the opening play of the game with a HIA.

Overall the Dragons have won two of the past five meetings with the spoils split one-apiece in 2022 and 2023.
