NRL Round 19 Match Preview: Trio returns as Dragons venture to Suncorp

The Dragons will meet the Broncos on Saturday, July 13th at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane in Round 19 of the 2024 Telstra Premiership.

Zac Lomax and Ben Hunt are off on State of Origin duty with Mikaele Ravalawa returning from suspension onto the wing and Jesse Marschke earning a recall at halfback.

Raymond Faitala-Mariner returns to the starting side after being a late scratching in Round 18 due to back spasms whilst Hame Sele’s return from a shoulder issue sees him replace the injured Blake Lawrie on the interchange.

Jack Bird has again been listed among the reserves after a successful return in the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup a week ago.

The Broncos will be without Origin stars Reece Walsh, Payne Haas, Patrick Carrigan and Selwyn Cobbo as well as Jock Madden (hamstring).

Kotoni Staggs (personal leave) and Jordan Riki (suspension) return for the hosts however with Tristan Sailor the fullback and Josh Rogers the halfback.

Blake Mozer joins the interchange with Xavier Willison and Tyson Smoothy earning promotions to the run-on side.
