Young stars show out at ASSRL National Championships

A collection of young Dragons were on show at the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League National Championships at Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour over the past fortnight.

Jacob Halangahu, Kade Reed, and Lucas Borg – who all spent the earlier part of the year with the Dragons and Steelers SG Ball squads respectively – starred on the men's side of the draw.

Halangahu added some more silverware to his resumé taking home the NSWCCC's Most Valuable Player award.

He was also named to the Australian Schoolboys side for the second year in a row.
