NRLW Round 3 Match Preview: Dragons head to Hunter to face defending premiers

The Dragons will meet the Knights on Sunday, August 11th at McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle in Round 3 of the 2024 Telstra Women's Premiership.

The squad will be in action at McDonald Jones Stadium following the Knights and Wests Tigers NRL clash.

Margot Vella (ankle) and Sara Sautia (foot) are both unavailable for the Red V with Maatuleio Fotu-Moala earning a recall on the wing and Madison Mulhall set to make her first appearance of the season off the interchange.

Kasey Reh also earns a promotion to the starting side after a Player of the Match performance on Sunday night with Sophie Clancy reverting to the interchange.

Tyla King, fresh off an Olympic gold medal with New Zealand's Rugby Sevens side, has been named among the reserves alongside Ella Koster who looks to make a return from a shoulder complaint suffered prior to the season.

Knights head coach Ben Jeffries has named the same 17 that downed the Raiders a week ago.

Recent addition Tenika Willison has been named among the reserves having this week returned from the Olympics.
