Tynan Motors Presents the 'Tynan Old Boys Cup'

Tynan Motors is thrilled to announce the return of footy legends from the St George Illawarra Dragons and Cronulla Sharks for an exhilarating halftime match during the local derby round.

The 'Tynan Old Boys Cup' will take place at WIN Stadium, Wollongong, on August 25th during halftime of the Round 25 clash against the Sharks.

As an iconic sponsor of the St George Illawarra Dragons, Tynan Motors has organised this thrilling halftime spectacle, set to take place during the NRL clash between the Dragons and the Sharks. Tynan Motors ambassador Luke Lewis will captain the Cronulla Sharks Old Boys team, featuring legends such as Paul Gallen, Ben Ross, Andrew Fifita, Greg Bird, Todd Carney, and Wade Graham.

Opposing them will be the Dragons Old Boys, led by captain Jeremy Latimore and joined by stars Jason Nightingale, Dan Hunt, Ben Creagh, Beau Scott and Kyle Stanley, with the game officiated by renowned referee Bill Harrigan.

Former NRL legend Jeremy Latimore, is uniquely body painted in a striking half Sharks, half Dragons jersey by the talented Julie Tattam to celebrate the upcoming match.

Several Tynan Old Boys Cup games have been played previously, with the cup currently residing with the Dragons team. The rivalry is fierce, as the Sharks aim to reclaim the cup this year.

To commemorate this special game, custom jerseys have been created thanks to Classic Sportswear. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on match-worn signed jerseys online. All proceeds from the jersey auction go to supporting Southern Cancer Care and the University of Wollongong's Molecular Horizon medical research.

Tynan Motors has a rich history with these two local clubs. They have sponsored the St George Illawarra Dragons for over 20 years, a partnership initiated by Michael Tynan and continues today. Additionally, Tynan Motors has previously sponsored the Cronulla Sharks, and Madeline Tynan now proudly sits on their Board.
