Hame Sele returned to training this week on light duties as he continues his recovery from a medical condition.
Sele was released from hospital last Wednesday after spending four nights in hospital. He was admitted following the round 23 match against the Bulldogs after experiencing chest pains during the match.
Thorough testing has revealed he is experiencing pericarditis, a condition which causes inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart.
Further specialist review will be required to determine when he will be able to return to unrestricted training. The club’s immediate priority is to support him and his family and to ensure his return to full health.
