Our Knock-On Effect NSW Cup group remain in the finals hunt, but they require a Panthers loss or draw in their Friday evening clash against the Rabbitohs.
Should that result go the Red V's way, a win against the Eels on Saturday morning at CommBank Stadium would see them qualify for the postseason unless the Bulldogs are able to claw their way out of a 42-point for-and-against gulf against the Sea Eagles.
