The Dragons recently concluded a series of visits to 34 junior rugby league clubs across the St George, Illawarra, and South Coast Group 7 areas.
Throughout the 2024 season, these visits focused on 'Respect Sessions' aimed at Under 10s Tackle and League Tag teams with the sessions centred on teaching the value of respect through interactive, hands-on workshops.
Participants engaged in discussions about respecting oneself and others, complemented by basic skill games designed to reinforce the core messages and foster group interaction.
Dragons Community wrap up Respect Sessions
The sessions featured appearances by both NRL and NRLW stars alongside Dragons Community staff with all involved dedicated to imparting these important lessons.
The Dragons are committed to enhancing the game day experience for young players, coaches, volunteers, referees, and parents by promoting a respectful and positive environment.
The Dragons also delivered the message to the Wellington Cowboys and the Dunedoo Swans during their Central West Blitz whilst also visiting the Gundagai Tigers and Tumut Blues in the Riverina region.
