The Dragons' 2025 Indigenous Jersey Design Competition is now open with artists invited to participate.
The initiative is a part of the club's ongoing commitment to celebrating and honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through jerseys.
The initiative underscores the Dragons' dedication to educating supporters and embracing cultural diversity within the club.
The 2025 Dragons Indigenous Jersey aims to be a powerful visual representation that merges the themes of Mother Earth, Father Sky, the Traditional Calendar Seasons of the region and Men's and Women's Business.
The combination seeks to create a deep and meaningful connection between the jersey's design and the rich cultural heritage of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Artists from these communities aged 16 and over are encouraged to participate and are invited to submit designs.
The chosen artwork will be prominently featured on the 2025 Indigenous Jersey and related merchandise showcasing the artists' cultural stories and traditions to a wider audience.
All submissions are due by Wednesday, October 16th, 2024.
