The Dragons yesterday took to the schools of the South Coast to continue the Community Team's The Best You Can Be Blitz.

A collection of players spent their day off visiting various schools throughout the Shoalhaven before gathering at Nowra's Lyrebird Park for a multi-club clinic and Respect Super Session.

The players visited eight primary schools including Tomerong, Greenwell Point, Nowra Hill, Bomaderry, Nowra East, Callala, Cambewarra and Shoalhaven Heads.

Alongside members of the Dragons Community Team, the players helped delivered key messages encouraging children to make positive choices around health and wellbeing before running the students through some interactive, rugby league-based games.

The sessions focus on the importance of being active, tolerance, respect and inclusiveness, the importance of sleep, screen time management, hydration and nutrition.

Following the sessions, players posed for photos with the students and signed Dragons posters which they had handed out.
