Head Coach Shane Flanagan has announced his squad to face the Melbourne Storm at Jubilee Stadium in Round 4 of the 2025 Telstra Premiership.
Gerringong Lions junior and Dragons Academy graduate Dylan Egan has been named to make his NRL debut off the interchange.
Egan has progressed through the club's pathways system having played two seasons of Harold Matthews Cup and two seasons of SG Ball with Illawarra.
He was the captain of Illawarra's SG Ball outfit in 2023 and made the leap up to Jersey Flegg and Knock-On Effect NSW Cup later that year.
In 2024, the 20-year-old played in 1,871 of a possible 1,920 minutes at Knock-On Effect NSW Cup level making 849 tackles – the highest among all Dragons and third in the competition – at near 96 per cent efficiency whilst tallying 11 line breaks and 45 tackle breaks.
David Klemmer will also make his club debut off the interchange with Blake Lawrie and Raymond Faitala-Mariner dropping back to the reserves list and Toby Couchman named to start at prop.
