The Dragons Wheelchair Rugby League have enjoyed a nice start to their new season with the side bagging one win from their first three outings.
The squad will be hosting a free Come and Try event prior to their Round 7 home match at the University of Wollongong on Sunday, April 27th from 12:30pm.
A four-try haul courtesy of vice-captain Corey Cannane was not enough to propel the Dragons past the Eels in Round 1 with the Red V falling 57-44.
Alongside father Craig, Cannane has proven one of the competition's stars with the duo having represented Australia at the 2021 Wheelchair World Cup.
The side showcased a heap of resilience in what proved an intense season opener.

They managed a key bounce-back in Round 2 surging past the Raiders 70-38 with Cannane notching six tries, Stephan Rochecouste three, and William Derederenalagi two.
The Rabbitohs were too strong in Round 3 however as they came away with a 62-30 victory.
Cannane again managed a hat-trick whilst Rochecouste grabbed a double in the defeat.
Round 4 was called off due to the weather but is set to be played later in the year.
